When used with the required electrotherapy device, the TensCare Electrotherapy Pads allows you to achieve the specific treatment you require to meet your fitness goals.

Universal IFT, EMS, and TENS Pads

Without electrode pads, an electrotherapy device cannot perform its job of providing pain relief, muscle toning, training or rehabilitation. The TensCare 25mm circular electrode pads with pigtails and pin connectors are for universal use with TENS, EMS and IFT machines, allowing the user to achieve the treatment they require.  The small 25mm circular size of these pads make them particularly ideal for precision application and treatment on areas such as the face, hands and feet. 

How Do I Apply the Tenscare Electrode Pads?

Before applying the TensCare electrode pads, be sure to wash the skin with warm soapy water to remove any dirt, oil or creams that may be present on the skin, as the presence of oils and debris can degrade electrode pads and cause problems with adhesion. For application and removal be sure turn off the TENS unit beforehand each time. You may peel the electrodes gently from the corner, but do not pull on the wire.

Storage Advice

The electrode pads are water-based and may dry out. Between uses they should be stored on the plastic shield in their resealable bag and kept in a cool place out of direct sunlight.

What Can Be Done if the Electrode Pads Do Dry Out?

Should an electrode pad become dry, either spray the gel side with a fine mist of water, or apply a drop of water to the gel side and spread around with fingertip. Leave the electrode for about 10 minutes until it recovers its tackiness.

How Many Times Can These TENS Machine Pads Be Used?

The life of this electrode pad can vary depending on skin conditions and skin preparation, however generally each pad can be used up to 15 times before needing replacing. Once tackiness is lost and no longer recoverable you should replace the electrodes.
