How Thick are Sorbothane Single Strike Insoles?

A common question we get is "how thin are these insoles?" It's an important question to ask. If an insole is too thick, it can cause the foot to rub against the fabric above. Too thin, and your knees and hips will soon know about it. The Single Strike Insoles have a thickness of 8.5mm at the heel, and 4.5mm at the toe. To find your size, simply remove the insole from your current pair of shoes and measure it at the longest and widest point as demonstrated in the image below. When you have these measurements, please consult the sizing chart beneath to match them to the correct size insole for you.

Fitting the Sorbothane Shock Stopper Single Strike Insoles

To fit these insoles, simply remove the original insoles if necessary and use this insoles as a guide to trim the Sorbothane Insoles to the perfect size, then insert them into the shoe. You can check that the insoles lay flat and that the edges are smooth and the right shape and size.
