Designed for Performance and VMO Stabilisation

The VMO, or Vastus Medialis Oblique, is one of the four quadricep muscles, and is the primary muscle used to stabilise your patella (kneecap) during the extensions and retractions that take place during exercises involving the leg. Unlike other knee supports, RockTape Assassins Knee Protection Sleeves are 'extra tall', so they compress the VMO at its insertion point above the patella, to ensure proper stability and tracking. RockTape Assassins also provide much needed compression and warmth to promote blood flow, another crucial element to the health of your knees while lifting.

5mm vs 7mm Thickness

RockTape Assassins Knee Protection Sleeves are available in two different thicknesses: 5mm and 7mm. The crucial factor to consider when choosing your thickness is the level of support you require. If you need a knee support with more compression, warmth and stiffness, go for the 7mm; if you're looking for a more flexible, lightweight knee support, the 5mm version is better.

Sizing of Rocktape Assassins

To determine size, please measure the circumference of your leg around the centre of your patella (kneecap) and match your results to the table below. Assassins start very snug and take a few uses to break in. If you measure on the higher end of a size, we recommend that you order the next size up.
