How Do the Cryotherapy System and Ankle Wrap Work?

The Promedics Cryo Cold Therapy System works by exchanging ice cold water between the cooler and ankle wrap using gravity. Simply hold or hang the cooler, connected by a tube to an anatomically-specific wrap, above the wrap and allow the water to provide cold and compression therapy. 

How Long Can I Use the Cryotherapy Cooler System For?

It is not recommended to use the Cryotherapy Cooler System for longer than 30 minute cold therapy sessions at a time. Use the cooler immediately before exercise for optimal results, however allow at least an hour after exercise to ensure the beneficial inflammation that helps you body heal has taken it's natural course. Ensure the skin is checked every hour on a routine basis to prevent skin damage.

With a height of 375mm, the wrap covers the entire ankle and foot stretching above the ankle for a comprehensive fit. The length of the wrap is 725mm, including the length of the fastenings when laid flat, ensuring the wrap will have a secure and snug fit for users of all sizes. 

Thermal Insulation Technology for 6 - 8 Hours of Therapy
