Is the ProCare Surgical Shoe Suitable for Swollen Feet?
As the ProCare Surgical Shoe is designed for post-operative use, where swelling may be present, it is suitable for wearing with a swollen foot. In extreme cases of swelling the shoe may not be suitable, and we would always recommend consulting a medical professional if you are concerned about the suitability of the shoe.
However, as the shoe is designed for post-operative use it is generally considered a good choice for swollen feet. The ProCare Medical Surgical Shoe can also be adjusted to ensure it is as comfortable as possible.
How Adjustable Is This Shoe?
The ProCare Surgical Shoe features a long strap with Velcro fastening. This makes it suitable even for heavily swollen feet, and allows the user to adjust the strap as tightly as needed.
