Who Can Make Gains with the Synthetic Leather Sparring Gloves?
Sparring gloves are ideal for partner training. Boxers need to build muscle mass to increase strength, stamina and endurance. Boxing with a partner can be a great full-body workout to help you build muscle in your arms, chest, shoulders, core and legs. If you're a beginner, make sure to stick with it, as consistent practice will help you to build up your strength and technique.
What Are Sparring Gloves?
Sparring gloves are similar to regular training gloves, although they have different moulds and areas of padding. They are designed with more cushioning to reduce impact. As sparring gloves are used for real contact, this ensures that the user does not hurt their opponent.
Are the Synthetic Leather Gloves Comfortable?
The Fitness-Mad Synthetic Leather Sparring Gloves feature wide Velcro wrist supports, attached thumbs and a waterproof taffeta lining that prevents moisture from entering the padding. This helps to keep the hands comfortable, allowing you to spar and train for longer without having to remove your gloves. These gloves also contain pre-moulded latex inserts that help to protect the hands against the shock and impact involved in sparring.
Why Choose Synthetic Leather Gloves?
There are always differences between using faux and real leather, and it often depends on personal choice. Synthetic leather is a cheaper alternative, with similar levels of durability. Synthetic gloves might be a better option for beginners, or those who are more infrequent with training. If you require leather sparring gloves, take a look at the Fitness-Mad Leather Pro Sparring Gloves, made from high-quality cowhide.
Which Glove Weight Should I Choose?
The Synthetic Leather Sparring Gloves are available in 3 different glove weights. Varying weights allow boxers to progress from hook and jab pads to heavy bag workouts to sparring with a partner.
The larger you weigh, the bigger gloves you'll be using, but generally gloves 12oz and below are best for bags, whilst 14oz have the most substantial padding to protect your opponent during sparring sessions. However this can differ depending on the user's individual requirements.
