Waterproof Design
Designed so you can perform all the activities you enjoy, the Aircast Air Stirrup Brace has a waterproof design. This allows you to wear the support in the pool or in the shower if your physician has told you to wear it at all times. After you get the support wet, it should be rinsed and allowed to air dry before you use it again.
Pre-Inflated Air Cells
The Aircast Air Stirrup Ankle Brace features two pre-inflated, overlapping air cells (distal and proximal) to provide support and produce graduated compression while you walk around. This helps reduce oedema (i.e. swelling caused by fluid trapped in your body tissue) and helps accelerate rehabilitation of ankle sprains. The support is anatomically designed to help immobilise the area and limit any pain you're experiencing as a result of the condition.
Can These Air Cells Be Inflation Further?
Absolutely. If you find that your air cells lose bulk over time, simply take the inflation tube that is supplied with your brace and inflate the cells on either side further until a comfortable level of padding is achieved.
