How Does the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace Prevent Sprains and Rollovers?
The Aircast A60 Ankle Brace features a plastic stabiliser that goes from one side of your ankle to the other, resting comfortably under the arch of your foot. The proprioceptive nature of the brace means you are more subconsciously aware of where you are placing your foot, reducing the risk of further injury.
Unlike traditional ankle supports, which are often designed with a 90° angle, the Aircast A60 Brace supports the ankle at 60°. This is akin to the angle of your foot during activities, making the Aircast A60 Brace ideal for preventing sprains and ankle rollover during sports.

What Is Anti-Migration and How Does the Aircast A60 Stay In Place?
If you’ve ever worn an ankle brace that has turned out to be anything other than supportive, you’ll know that it’s incredibly annoying and uncomfortable if it shifts around while you’re working out. This movement, or migration, is prevented by the anti-migration design of the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace.
As the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace wraps under the arch of the foot, anchoring the support in the correct position, the ankle brace is prevented from migrating up the leg during use. This means that the Aircast A60 reduces the risk of the brace moving out of its correct position and limits the time you need to spend repositioning the brace during sport or activity.
What Should I Do After I Take Off the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace?
After removing the Aircast A60 Ankle Brace, we recommend that you gently apply an ice pack to the area. Not only will this feel soothing after an intense workout, but it will also help to prevent any post-match discomfort from turning into something more nasty.
